'Namgis Tribal Journey's 2008 to Cowichan Territory - Part 1
From July 18 to July 28, we left from Alert Bay in traditional sea-going canoes. Every year a different Northwest Coast indigenous nation host the gathering called Tribal Journey's, and canoes from all over the coast travel. Here some photo's from the first half of our journey. We land in Duncan/Cowichan territory on July 28th. They are expecting over 80 canoes.
